wePlan is a non-profit consultancy for participatory spatial design. This company aims to contribute to the field of participatory spatial design through the application of latest communications concepts. It offers the use of researched tools from the discipline of behavior economics on one hand, and the introduction of cutting edge augmented reality technology on the other. Its principal consultant and founder, Mohammad Ashraf Khan, has recently completed PhD research in this field and wePlan is a culmination of his expertise. This company is a start-up venture that gradually aims to grow into an international level consultancy firm. It is focused exclusively on serving disadvantaged communities and therefore operates on a non-profit or cost-to-cost basis, including a fixed minimal fees for the consultancy services offered. At present its key project is a pilot venture for the introduction of low carbon-footprint safe and affordable construction technologies for disadvantaged communities in Pakistan.
